Alyssa Sylvester’s childbirth classes were engaging and thorough and left my partner and I feeling empowered in our birthing journey. I loved all the evidence based information and also the physical demonstrations of coping measures for partners. From guidance on developing a birth plan, and answering all our questions (even the weird ones), I would without a doubt take her birth class again and highly recommend her to anyone even thinking about getting pregnant! Additionally: It is months later and we are so thankful to have had Alyssa as our doula throughout pregnancy and at the birth of our son. She proved invaluable from educating us in childbirth classes and being a constant support leading to up to birth. As a first time mom, I found “the unknown” of how labor would go down daunting but Alyssa was always there with reassuring words and evidence based knowledge (Her knowledge base is exceptional!). Her presence really made all the difference in us having a positive birth experience and we are forever grateful!
